Very nice, beautiful, usually quiet, pretty big (not huge) and best of all, free. They have a donations jar but I've never been pressured to use it. Can't think of anything bad to say about this place.
Great place to visit. One of the few free things to see and do in Key West. Built in an old fort with tons of natural exhibits.

I happened to walk past here once on a trip and I make it a stop every time I come now. This garden is unique for its setting and beautifully kept. You can also observe plenty of butterflies or sit in the shade on the old walls and watch the pelicans fish and the waves gently roll in. Admission is free but they accept donations which I think are more than warranted for what you get.
