Love this beach! You can rent an umbrella and chairs. There is a place to eat and you can walk or bike to this beach. A short stroll away from the White St pier and bocce courts. If you don't find a beach in Key West, you didn't venture out enough. This is my favorite of the four that I know of.
Closed spots in the middle of the beach - not cool at all. Closed pier - even worse. But still you are crazy if you don’t enjoy this paradise ;)
Nice and relaxing place. Can rent canoes, rafts, noodles and chair/umbrella on the beach. Go into the water through the stairs at the dock. If you go in through the shore you risk stepping on coral. There is also a dog park, so all the members of the family can have fun.
The beach was okay. Beautiful white sands that are fine and well kept. That said, the water is full of rocks and rock shelves. This beach isn't the most comfortable beach to swim at. We definitely prefer the lines of more northern beaches, like Clearwater and Sanibel.
I did not see one single homeless person. So not sure if previous reviewer can identify a homeless person. It was great. Clean. Amenities nearby. Great for family or just one person who wants to relax.
