Dr. Tom and Mickie and the staff are fantastic! They helped us with an abandoned, feral kitten on our trip from Virginia. She became part of our family, on the spot! They were very caring and gave her a check up and boarded her, giving her a bath and toy. Wonderful folks!!

Dr was prompt, knowledgeable, and clear. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and excellent with animals. Cost was reasonable. Care was very good.

This 'doctor' told me my 18 year old cat needed to have her one remaining tooth removed, very risky for a senior cat. I went to three other vets who said the tooth was fine (as I suspected). After I insisted on copy of blood test he did, he gave me something that was barely legible; after insisting on another copy I could see this was not my cat's numbers. In fact, they were the numbers of an animal barely, if at all, alive. When I questioned him he said 'It was an old cat'. I thought it was strange that there is no medical school information listed. He is very scary from my experience. I have a friend who had a similar but worse (she lost her cat) experience. Stay Away.

Had to put down my cat, and these sweet people were so compassionate. Small shop, so it gets busy quick.

I had the best result for the worst situation! My Havanese, a 12 lb, gentle dog was attacked by another dog, who bit his foot so badly that one of the nails was half ripped out. I showed up with no appointment. They took me anyway, and gave my pet the best care. Dr. Householder's experience as an emergency vet was extremely important to me.My dog has a serious heart defect, so bad that my regular vet won't clean his teeth due to anesthesia risk. Dr. H knew exactly what to do. I can't imagine a better outcome. While the injury is serious (he had to have the entire nail removed) the prognosis is good. I don't get anyone complaining about the staff. They had the opening person call out sick 10 minutes before open. The Dr. came and opened and I felt like all of the staff, both morning and for afternoon pickup were courteous and very willing to share the information I needed. Highly recommend!
