Shuttle showed up on time, the driver was excellent. Told me about some spots to go to "plus showed me where the best beach was."
We rented a 6 person electric car.
Absolutely a big scam! It does not matter if you babied their scooters, they will still claim you scratched it up and then stick you with a bill to replace the plastics on the scooter. They claim it is their policy to replace them if there is even one scratch. Now they know you didn't make that scratch but they will blame you for it. I am reporting them for the scam artists they are and they will not get one cent from me.
This is by far the worst ran business I have ever seen. The owner and partner do not communicate appropriately at all. I was told one thing and booked, but then when I had to call and confirm i was told another thing! I was told they would pick us up at the address we were staying at in stock island, but when i called to confirm I was told that the co owner would never say that they would pick us up in stock island, however she called us back and told me that they must have just started picking up there and she (The owner!!) was not informed of this. They were unable to pick us up at the correct time. We were late for our excursion that day. When we got two of the 50 scooters they have one gas tank was on E! We were told that the gauge was broken and it was really on full. The next day my 6 yr old daughter and I were stranded in the middle of the road without anywhere to pull off, during heavy traffic!!! It took 45 minutes before i finally called and told them to forget about coming to give us gas. My husband had already gone to the store and got enough gas to get us home. We missed out plans that day... The manager did end up coming and put gas in the scooters. When we dropped the scooters off the guy who told us that the scooter gas gauge was broken pulled up on a golf cart with another couple, who was going to rent a scooter. He pulled up cussing and yelling at them. The couple ended up walking away and not renting from them. He and the couple exchanged words from the scooter parking lot to the other side of the road. The worker was cursing in front of my daughter and making rude comments to everyone. He then was our transport back to the house, and was nice as can be to us.. He did however ave road rage and yelled and cursed at the other drivers on the road.. We will never rent from this dysfunctional company ever again! WE DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE AS WE DID, SO DOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!
This place will scam you. I rented a scooter for a week and returned it the same way I received it. They tell me I scuffed the side of the scooter. I'm telling you 110% I didn't damage it once so ever. They right up a bill and tell me to sign for the damage. Of course I refuse. They billed my credit card. Scam scam scam they bill multiple people for the same thing in attempt to make side money. No worries though. Just disbute it with your credit card company. It's keywest there's scooter rentals by the dozen there. Might want to stay away from these crooks.
Checking the car out was simple and painless. Check in at the end of the day was equally painless. When we come back we will use them again.
Only thing I would suggest is raise the top speed up to the speed limit
We had a great experience during our stop on the Royal Caribbean tour to Key West and CUBA! Fantastic way to see the whole area!
