Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure that all scuba newbies and experts alike comfortably enjoyed their diving adventure. Originally, I was uncertain and somewhat terrified about the whole "breathing underwater" ordeal, but I'm glad the instructor stayed with me until I was confident enough in myself to dive, because exploring underwater is spectacular. I'm especially grateful for all the support and information provided to me by the staff, and even fellow divers, and I absolutely recommend Captain's Corner Dive Center to anyone looking for an experience like no other!
Loved all 4 dives in one day. Amanda was awesome and our Captain Ken was very Knowledgeable. The wreck dive was phenomenal and the clarity was 80', which is just breathtaking. My only complaint was I should of used more sunscreen ha. Great time and great dive Masters / instructors.
Rock solid Dive outfit! Did the "intro to scuba" class in one day with Mike. He was phenomenal. Dive center has its own pool, you do a class at 10am which is quick then learn how to operate the equipment, then dive in the pool until 12pm, then free for lunch, then at 2pm you head out on the boat for 2 almost hour long dives on 2 different reefs. You are back before 6pm in time for happy hour :) Shout out to Tom from Philly, the dive master who oversaw the diving operations going on. It wasn't just our "intro to scuba" group but like 25 other more advanced divers/instructors on the boat which was fun! Saw amazing fish, a little docile nurse shark, blowfish, grouper, huge crabs, lobster, some other divers saw rays and eels. Was a little nervous, first time diving but the team made it safe. We had another professional diver, Nate, following us for safety. You can split up the pool and the dives into 2 different days if you want. The afternoon dives are everyday (unless canceled due to water/wave conditions) but the pool class is not so plan accordingly. I would imagine this is the best outfit with the best boat and equipment on the island. Go for it!
I didn't really want to do this, but I did it with my friend anyway. I had a hard time breathing underwater... must have been a mental thing.... The instructor gave me extra attention and really helped. I ended up doing the first dive and seeing the reefs. Amazing. Simply amazing. I got very sick on the boat and the staff was very nice and helpful. Made me feel better, despite the next 3 hours of being boat sick on a boat in the middle of the ocean. Still glad I did it.
Absolutely! We got a raw deal with a (different) scuba place. Highly recommend Captain's Corner!! Very courteous, very knowledgeable and patient. Very pleased. Price seems steep if you have never gone before BUT we were provided knowledge, training in a pool first, guidance, security, safety, all of the gear and boat usage plus the whole boat crew- Billy and Irene-our dive instructors and the on board boat crew and captain. Worth the price. I would definitely come back, after going with them on my first dive, I would not even think about going somewhere else! Thank you everyone involved. *cameras and go pro are not allowed unless you are a certified diver* this is due to keeping everyone safe and paying attention to the instructors. Understandable completely.
