So glad we found this place! The food was amazing. We ordered salt & pepper calamari, chicken fried rice, beef lo mein, curry chicken and garlic spare ribs. Excellent flavor and quality. 4 of the 5 dishes came out in less than 10 minutes. Wow! A definite gem in Key West.
Delicious and quick! Called in an order and it was ready sooner than they predicted. The noodles and seafood in our dishes were flavorful, and the fried rice was great. Staff was very friendly and even double checked to make sure everything was packed. The location itself is kind of small but really clean and relaxed.
Not only is the food delicious; however, the dining experience is phenomenal! It's a family run business and they do a great job. It was packed full of locals and Pang (I think he owns it) jokes around and chats it up with all the customers. Nice, clean, and contemporary. I'd consider this comparable to the old country cafe where all the locals go and solve all the problems of the world over coffee, but replace coffee with Asian cuisine. Lol.
Sister Noodle House is one of my favorite "go-to" spots in Key West. I love the fact that it isn't on Duval and the prices are reasonable. My favorite dish is the General Taos Shrimp. The shrimp is tender in a crispy coating and the sauce is just the right amount of spicy. I also love the dumplings. I will say that the amount of seaweed salad you get is certainly not worth the cost but the main dishes are. The owner is always so kind to me and my boyfriend. Love this place.
We hat a sit-down dinner at Sister Noodle a couple of months ago and we liked it. So we other night, after working on the computer all day until late, we felt like Chinese takeout and called the restaurant. The horror. My husband is more discerning, but when I am hungry, I do not discriminate. I couldn't touch my food nonetheless. The spring rolls were huge (not always an asset) doughy and soggy and they hit the trash in record time. According to my husband, the fried rice was 'not bad', which didn't exactly entice me. The Szechuan chicken was good, although the protein was sparse. What really made me angry was the noodle dish I ordered. I asked for something spicy and I got a pile of noodles with a few shreds of chicken, couple of peas and a smattering of carrot and no sauce whatsoever, the Asian version of hospital food. All this for $52 before tip. Maybe they were having a bad night, but they didn't make our any better.
