Oh yeah, we had a small order of conch fritters. I think these are probably the best I have ever had without too much breading and actual chunks of meat.
Discover the best conch in Key West! The cracked conch was fresh & tender, lightly dredged thru a signature recipe of cracker meal and seasoning. Served hot with two sides. We chose the black beans with rice and a small salad. The salad, while tasty and colorful with bell peppers, red onion, zucchini and diced tomatoes, is still a salad. However, the black beans were outstanding. Rumor has it that the owner uses a Cuban recipe that adds capers and green olives to savory beans and topped with chopped red onion. A generous sized bowl is lined with white rice and those lovely beans are ladled on. A meal in itself! Thank you, Allana, for suggesting it!! The conch fritter was good but get the cracked conch for a real experience.
Great fresh seafood with a charming casual atmosphere in a quaint Key West neighborhood. I got grilled mahi-mahi with black beans and my partner got cracked conch. It was so tasty and fresh. The owner and staff were very friendly as well. A+++

This place has the best fried shrimp and fried conch I have ever eaten. We ate lunch here every day on our last visit. Probably almost every day this year as well.
I had the grilled snapper and it was done just right, without that rubbery over-done cooking. The black beans and rice were something different that I enjoyed and spent the night trying to figure out what the extra flavor was.
My wife had softshell crab that seemed to be done just right.
Shack on the street with some of the best seafood in Key West! It doesn't look like much, looks rundown, but don't let it fool you it's AMAZING! Fun folks, great food, made to order. Almost like a permanent food truck! We ALWAYS come here!
