Love this shop! I have bought all my jewelry souvenirs from this shop on my Key West trips. The owner is so kind and appreciative.

The shop is small and quaint. The owner was friendly. He explained to my husband and myself how he designs his own sterling silver jewelry. We purchased a sterling silver ring with a genuine garnet stone. After the third day of wearing the ring the stone fell out. Inside of the ring where the stone is to be mounted was a tiny ball of paper. Apparently, the stone sat on you of the paper which gave the illusion of a larger stone. The surrounding silver to keep the stone in place was as thin as aluminum foil. From washing my hands I deduce the paper expanded causing the stone Push out of the casing which wasn't very strong to being with. Although the price was great, I now have to take the ring to another jeweler so it can be mounted properly, and thus spend more money.
So first time ever in the keys always wanted to buy a authentic Spanish ship reck coin , walked into this jewelry store if you want to call it that had been the worst experience in my life ever at a jewelry store it was so horrible I left with out a coin . The ARTIST the OWNER was the most disgusting, disrespectful, person who I will never ever in my life buy from is name is Mr. Loukus Kongos!!!!!! He is a racist he literally came at me and said "Do you have $2500 to spend her if not don't waist my time"! I was in shock and at the same time angry because for one he doesn't even know who I am and to top it he didn't know if I was going to buy something else that could've cost more, He looked up and down and said BLACK PEOPLE DONT HAVE MONEY! I am not even black I am a born Hispanic/Latino .
If you want to save time and a great deal of MONEY please please go somewhere else other than this location because he doesn't like black people or just colored people period! Best of luck and please please someone close this business down people come here to enjoy and have a great time and yeah SPEND MONEY Mr. Loukus Kongos
