I dropped off my scooter on Saturday afternoon at Andy's on Truman ( A&M Scooters ) to have a slow leak repaired. Only today, 4 days later did I receive a response. It was ready, and the bill was for $77. That is absurd for what should have only been a new inner tube and labor. I had been taking scooters to Andy's for more than 10 years, and the price was never more than $30, and that usually included a pickup. It appears, however, that Andy's is under new management. I was going to dispute the charge using the system that the County Clerk's Office has in place. Pay the Clerk and then go through a judge to determine if the price was valid. In order to do that, I needed to get a receipt from Andy's. They refused to give me one. They didn't want to go through the trouble of trying to be paid through the County. Instead, the manager on duty pulled out a knife and slashed the tire and inner tube. I arrived with a slow leak. They sent me away with a slashed tire. I filed a report with the KWPD, but let this be a warning to everyone. Andy's is now the scooter shop to avoid.
what a complete jerk !!!!!!!! I took my moped in for the front brake to be replaced it was in the shop all day long i picked back up at 5 p.m , I get on it this morning and the speedometer doesnt work so i call and this nasty nasty manager tells me if i can come in and show him the corelation between the speedometer and the brake pad he will be happy to fix it for a fee what a complete jerk dont go to this con artists shop directly across from cvs terriable customer service just rude nasty jerk
Having my own both tires, replacement of those would cost me100$. Ridiculousness!
