Great food and atmosphere. The staff was attentive. The bartender was very nice to other patrons for some reason he ignored us. Carefyl where you park. Lots of rocks took a tumble in heels. Was not drinking.
Very unique and well design hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortably lush. The location is perfect just enough off the beaten path, but not to far away with a shuttle taking us downtown. The staff is very accommodating The food is delicious. I would agree the bar staff could definitely be approved upon! However, we will be staying here again next spring!
I love this hotel. It is a great place for families, romantic getaways, people with pets, young and old. Anybody will enjoy this hotel. It has ambiance and character. The hotel has a very industrial decor. A beautiful setting on the Stock Island Marina is the backdrop for this hotel. There is a pool warmed to the perfect temp, chair beds on grassy patches. Hammocks to sway in, a bar by the pool set along the marina, outdoor dining and fire pits. We brought our dog with us and upon checking he was given a bag full of goodies from the Lazy Dog Kayak and Paddle board rental. The staff always made him feel welcome with lots of attention and treats. We were always greeted with conversation and kindness by any staff member we saw, this rarely happens when we travel anymore. I don't think this hotel will have a problem turning into one of the most desirable places to stay. It's away from all the craziness and gives you a sense of being away from it all. Looking for a getaway, give it a try. It doesn't disappoint. Restaurants on property. There's also Hurricane Hole, Rusty Anchor and Hogfish Bar and Grille all just minutes away from the property.
Fantastic! The property is brand new (May 2017) and thus is obviously impeccable. We were impressed by the perfect pool, fire pits, quiet location, luxury bath products, free valet and free shuttle into the main tourist area. But the real star is the above and beyond staff. They're set on making your stay memorable. It was our anniversary, so they found a photo of us online and framed it in our room with a bottle of bubbly!
The hotel is beautiful the staff at concierge and front desk are amazing, the bar employees are the worst I've seen, especially how slow it was on a Sunday morning. I walked to the bar to get a glass of water and soda. I was told they would be right with me and I stood there for 15 min being ignored. The only reason I got water is because a customer at the bar felt bad I was standing so long he grabbed a glass from behind the bar and poured me some from his bottle. Finally I continued to wait for at least 10 more min and the same customer asked the bartender if I could get a Sprite. I was given the Sprite and was told it was free. I think employees at the bar should learn how to multi task. Unbelievable .
