The hotel is located in a great area, right next to the coast and we booked a room overlooking the bay. The room was reasonable large and clean and the service was good. The pool/eating area was nice as well. The reason I gave it 3 stars however is the cost. We stayed over labor day weekend and the price during the weekdays was about $300 per night, but they don't give you the tax so it was more like $350. On Friday it was nearly $500 but after the roughly 20% tax it approached $600.

LISTEN!!!!!!! IF I COULD GIVE IT A 10 OUT OF 10 I WOULD! STAY HERE! As a graduation gift for my sister, we came to Key West for a short, BUT very relaxing vacation and we stayed here (The Marker) and can I say , I have never experienced such amazing customer service at a resort before. When we arrived, the bell hop greeted us and when I entered the lobby I almost fainted, because the room scent (which I NEED) was so relaxing and everyone was so helpful and calm. UGH! AND OUR ROOM WAS SIMPLY AMAZING! The decor was so modern and clean. The bathroom definitely stole the show for me, with the separate shower and bath tub! The balcony was so peaceful and we had a view overlooking both pools facing the bar and restaurant area....Listen I WILL BE BACK AND I WILL BE STAYING HERE! THE MONEY IS WORTH IT! This is a really nice hotel, we loved the no-kids pool which is a life saver at these resort style hotels. The location could not be better in key west. The only scam is the $30 a day parking. You are better off parking across the street or around the corner.
I mean, really, $600? For that I'd expect a 2000 square foot suite. The place was nice for sure but in no way, shape or form worth that cost. We won't be returning to the Marker.
Love this hotel and location. Easy walk to Dubai street and plenty of restaurants, bars, and harbour. Definitely will visit again. Rooms super nice and like they have an adult pool.
