My wife and I stayed here for a honeymoon. The room consisted of a bedroom and living room and kitchen. We had steps down to our own private beach. The hotel is on the North tip of Key West is very convenient to shops restaurants and the island is bikeable everywhere. We ate at the restaurant inside the hotel. It's expensive but the food was amazing. Overall we had a very relaxing honeymoon and look forward to coming back.
We shared a three bedroom suite with two other couples. The picture shows the awesome view from our balcony. Each bedroom had a private bathroom which was very helpful. The full kitchen and washer/dryer were very helpful as well. We took advantage of the pool bar's 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour every day (kudos to bartender Bob), and we used the free, hourly shuttle to Duval Street every night. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I'm in Key West.
All of the rooms I saw were very nice. Despite how busy it was it was always quiet, and guest services was great. I would only recommend going to the poolside bar instead of the lobby bar for drinks and food. The food and drinks are about the same but the price is far better. Plus why stay indoors when you're visiting Key West?

The service was wonderful and condition of the hotel and pool were great. The room was relatively small, with just a king sized bed and no couch. Room included a fridge and microwave. The shuttle to downtown runs every hour until 11pm, which is useful but leaves something to be desired as far as availability. Parking is available for about $20/night. I wouldn't call this "beachfront"; it's more of a "sandy seawall-front" but the view in water-facing rooms is admittedly excellent.
