I had occassion to go to a clinic today. My 2nd choice was Truman Medical at 504 Truman Ave, Key West FL. My 1st choice was the clinic I usually go to. At the 1st clinic, I was once again greeted with a lousy attitude, rude and lazy staff.

Extremely poor customer service and rude reception. Was trying to get a simple TB screen placed for my employer to read 48h later. They informed me they needed a dr order and to see their physician which costs an additional $170 to the tb screen placement itself... Which is not what was discussed before on the phone prior to coming in. One can simply walk into a cvs minute clinic without a dr order to have a nurse do the placement. Found another clinic in town that does not need a dr order nor will charge you additional fees for an unnecessary dr encounter.
Best medical attention i have ever received, and i live in Sweden so that's saying a lot! Dr. Mackey truly sees the person and not just the patient, and made me feel safe, comfortable and i actually left with a huge smile on my face and feeling healthy. Not only did he and his staff take great care of me but they worked overtime even though it was the night before thanksgiving and the center was closing for the holiday. I am so grateful and I highly recommend Truman Medical Center.
I left and went to Truman Medical where I could not have asked for a more pleasant, respectful and professional experience. This will always be my #1 choice in the future.
I used the Truman Medical Center on two occasions and found the staff exceptionally focused, friendly, personable and generally concerned about my health issues. NP Sandy is the best provider I've seen in years. The entire staff from the X-ray tech to the office staff were friendly and professional. Thanks to all who helped me on both occasions.
We were cruising on a boat and needed medical attention for a cold that had turned into bronchitis and then mild pneumonia. Truman Medical Center was recommended locally and we found it to be a real gem. I found the administrators courteous and, best of all, the doctor I saw, Dr. Gerth, to be outstanding in giving personal attention and especially in explaining the reasons for his diagnosis and treatment procedure. They tend to be crowded at the opening hour of 9:00, try 10:30 or so for less of a crowd.
