The doctor who works there was very patient with me when I went in recently to have my prescription taken for my contact lenses. Finally decided to get rid of my glasses after years of reconsidering! I thought he was very thorough with the eye exam and very informative, which is what I look for in a doctor.
I have a client that I was trying to help her with a claim issue. The first time I called I spoke to Ruth, who told me the doctor is out on vacation for 2 weeks so call back then. I thought it was weird I needed to speak to a doctor to send a claim to the insurance but I said ok. I called back today and spoke to a man that did not give me his name. I asked for him to explain why he was billing the way he was and he explained it to me. I repeated myself to make sure I understand and he blew up on me! He said "Listen lady, I have dealt with this issue enough, I have people walking out the door!!" Screaming at me!! I have also heard from my clients that many times their prescriptions are incorrect in their glasses. I recommend going somewhere else. I call doctor offices all day to work on claim issues and I have never been treated this way.
My eye practitioner was professional and intelligent. Staff were very informative and helpful. Great customer service and all very nice. Very busy place and I see why!
I won't normally consider going to a retail store to have my eyes checked but because my company's insurance policy covers Sears Optical, this turned out to be a great experience, much better than I expected. I'd highly recommend it.
Vacation disaster broke my glasses and a blind man can't see. Lauren was awesome had my lenses in a set of frames in 10 minutes out the door and back to the beach. You can't beat that kind of service
What a poor excuse for an eye doctor. Whether calling or visiting for an appointment, the front desk is so disorganized and ignorant in customer service it baffles me. Prices are always changing and seems a bit shotty to be honest. What you save in appointment cost will be made up for in contact glass lense cost. I highly recommend dr Oppenheimer for consistent prices and a cohesive, polite and capable staff.
