Dr Maust is superb. His medical acupuncture training and unrivaled technical skills contribute vastly to his expertise but are not the only aspects that set him head and shoulders above his peers. His care and healing are exceptional in many ways. When you are in the private medical suite with him for diagnosis and treatment, he is very easy to talk with about even sensitive issues and you feel safe and protected. He is genuine in his attention and care and does more than just go through the motions. He is quite adept at listening to your symptoms but seeing beyond to the root of the problem, many times that you are quite unaware existed. He has helped me more than any doctor that I have ever been to and he did not make me ever feel rushed. As a physician of allopathic medicine, I believe I became a better physician after my experiences with him. I have always wanted to give my patients that same feeling of trust and have them know that I truly cared about their individual issues. I detest the application of medicine whereby it treats patients as a cohort or population rather than remembering that each specific diagnosis or constellation of symptoms has a real person with a whole life attached to it. I am very grateful to Dr Keith Maust for improving my health, and thus, improving the quality of my life as an individual and as a physician. I look forward to having the opportunity to visit him again soon. That should say it all because who ever looks forward to a doctors visit? That is just how good he is.
