Condescending uncomfortable not easy to talk to
I have been seeing Dr Jones for ten years. I had a bad spout of gastropersis, had a nuclear medicine test done at the hospital, I needed to see a gastro doctor asap. I made an appointment with Dr. Jones & then called the Marathon, Gastro doctor (Rakov) and was able to get in over a month sooner. When the guy called in to confirm my appointment I told him I had already seen Rakov & it wasn't neccessary at the moment. I called back a couple months later because I'm tired of driving to Marathon & I was told by Dr. Jones he will no longer see me because I missed an appointment. I explained that I DID CANCEL the appointment, but he wouldn't hear of it because it wasn't written in my chart. Absolutely ridiculous!
Had a referral from my primary care Dr. Made an appointment. But there must have been a communication problem somewhere and i missed that appointment. Apologized for misunderstanding and tried to reschedule but according to his secretary they classed me as a no show and told me that Dr Jones does not want to see me and to find another Dr somewhere else.
