We have been coming to Key West for the last 30 years. We also visit the bar scene too. We both love music so we go to Green Parrot and 1 other bar. The last 2 nights Ku Fu from Connecticut was outstanding. The employees there are great. I recommend anybody to stop by the Green Parrot and listen to the bands performing.
Cute little local hippy bar. Loved it! We didn't like any of the bars on Duval, they only played crappy radio hits and the crowd was kinda eh. But the Green Parrot had a live band and cool vibe.
22 years after my first root beer barrel shooter, and despite so many changes on the island, this remains the best watering hole in Key West and one of the best spots in the world for watching consistently-awesome and varied live music.
