In years past top notch place. Oysters were not rinsed before shucking. If your serious about oysters you know what I mean. Most oysters $3 each. Fish and chips very good. Service sub par. If this place is to survive the owner needs to kick some ass and give the manager a tune up double quick!!
Don't eat here. The food was horrible. Lump crab cakes were all filler and the Maine lobster roll was canned lobster and tasted like tuna fish. The only saving grace was the fresh oysters.
Great setting, prices cheaper than you would expect. Happy hour half price drinks and apps. Alaskan king crab is 35 bucks a pound but I highly recommend
Not really blown away by this place. Great location but the bartenders kept complaining about their boss, their girlfriends kept showing up to commiserate with them. And after bringing me a menu they never even asked to take my order they just took the menu away. Haven't gone back to this place in about five years and I think I'm going to check it again in 5 years
We love Alonzo's!! Always make it a point to get here for happy hour on our trip. Food is wonderful. Everything is great but we favor the calamari and the key lime garlic oysters.
