Cool place. One of those, "you've got to go there and see it" to at least say you've seen it. Free to see and easy to find another tourist to take your picture in front of it. There's basically no parking here so you might want to consider walking or maybe an Uber. I did like seeing this during the day because we came back in the late afternoon and the lighting wasn't right for pics.
Beautiful area! You get a good glimpse of the ocean and part of the Naval point. That said, it's a tourist trap (of course). Expect to stand in a line for a selfie. One pro about the line: someone to help take your photos. :)
Cool place to visit if you're in Key West. Although the monument was damaged from Hurricane Irma, it was still a cool experience. The water is right behind you and you can also see a bit of the Naval base. There was no parking on site only a couple of parallel spots, but than again that's all over the Island.
A beautiful experience out here. The Southernmost point is nice, because the Ocean is behind you in your picture. Popular with the tourists. Always a line to take picture. Bring some Buzz away or Off, while you wait in line to take picture's. That bottle of BUZZ AWAY works great for the no see them. They're worse than mosquitoes. Off doesn't work we found this to work against the two of them. Have fun out there.
You must visit this if you are in key west. There is always a line to take picture at the southern most point. you need to park at the paid parking lots on the street and not to park on residential parking lots. I paid $2.50 for 30 minutes. but the meter somehow granted it for 45 minutes. parking is close to the point and the attraction is across duval street. Key west marine park /beach is close by. A good spot to enjoy the sunset of to get in early. you could spot lot of fish and crabs in the water. you could easily spend around an hour or two here.
