Due to an unfortunate event, my son and I needed a ride from the Lower Keys Medical Center back to our ferry to Sunset Key at 2 in the morning. Due to the bad reviews on this site, I hesitated to call. I tried a couple other cab companies and didn't get an answer. Finally, I resorted to Five 6's. Our driver was friendly, nice, helpful and got us to the dock in no time. He even told us about a couple of local spots to visit on our trip. I am not sure what all the bad reviews are about, but my experience was excellent. I even decide to use them again when returning to my boat home...another good experience.
The largest company and fastest service in town. There is also an app: key west taxi, that works just like Uber, and their prices are almost the same.
Waited over an hour - never showed up. Called 3 times and they said under 5 min, obviously either misinformed or absolute liars. Go with Yellow Cab - nicer cars and they are timely.
These people actively work to keep out competition so they can continue providing a sub-standard service at high prices. Riding with this company is like going back in time before uber existed where taxi's could profit with little effort. I'd rather walk...
Be aware when using or driving near any of these cabs. Personally witnessed on of their cabs traveling at high speed on 7 mile. Passing in no passing zone and forcing incoming traffic on to the shoulder. They traveled through marathon this morning doing 15 over in a 35. Luckily school was not in session yet. Your taking your life into your own hands with these drivers.
