Def worth stopping by while you are in Key West! I would recommend staying for the feeding tours and watching the turtles swim with their prosthetic flippers :)
A fun place to go for an hour or so--be sure to watch the outdoor shark show! There were a lot of animals to see (as well as touch) and even an outdoor alligator and snake exhibit. The aquarium exits into a gift shop so if you have little kids be prepared to grab your wallet or leave quickly! Staff was friendly and genuinely loved this field.
Expected that the quality of this would be pretty low for its price, but was pleasantly surprised. We particularly enjoyed the show outside with all the large animals that were in need open aquarium. Overall, a great place to take the kids for a couple hours.
Small aquarium, but wonderful staff. We happened to visit at the end of the day and got to learn about one of their sea turtles who wears a prosthetic flipper! I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff were that we encountered.
